Blueprint #4
Inspired by the aesthetics of classic sci-fi noir, I wanted to work on a Blueprint
that could capture the overarching feel and depth of that universe. I love the
dirt, the neon, the rain, the over-the-top hyper-sexualised advertising and
probably most the atmosphere.
Working with the original Blueprint algorithm meant starting with at least 1 image,
extracting points of interest and then triangulating that data using Delunay
and Voronoi before rendering with chosen renderer.
Previous Blueprints focused mainly on just rendering the resulting Voronoi graph
with clean thin lines but this time I used a vector field to create a rain-like
effect with a very limited grey-scale palette.
The outline of a dancer can be seen as the 'digital rain' hits her and forms a
silhouette.
