Starting with long elongated chains with each link colour pulled from a pre-chosen palette, we draw at a very low alpha, all the links each frame onto a black background.

The chains are slowly drawn in towards the starting point and very slightly mutated, the angle of every link can be altered affected itself and all further links in the chain.

As the chain is constricted and drawn in the mutations have a lesser affect on the clumps of links and we start to see lighter areas of detail emerge.

Can this exact image be re-produced? No, as the tree grows and branches, random numbers are used to determine direction and length. An image in a similar style could be produced however.
